Kaya trash Loyola; Archers and Pachanga-Diliman draw

Kaya FC gave Loyola Meralco sparks a sound beating by overpowering their rivals three goals to one.

Pedro Rodriguez scored a great opening goal after redirecting a free kick by Richard Greer to the top right corner.

OJ Porteria slotted Kaya’s second from the penalty spot in the 35th minute after a Chris Greatwich shot hit a Loyola defenders hand.

Pedro slotted his 2nd with a superb low shot after a quick turn 2 minutes after the start of the 2nd half.

Things got a little interesting when a frustrated Lee Joo Yong of Loyola kicked the ball in desperation towards the fallen Eddie Mallari on a deadball situation. A commotion ensued which led to a yellow for Lee.

Lee scored a consolation goal on a rebound after colliding with the Kaya keeper in the 88th minute.

It was total domination for Kaya as they controlled the pace of the game with Greer and azkal Chris Greatwich.

Green Archers United and Pachanga-Diliman settled for a highly entertaining draw in the first match. The Match ended scoreless but was filled with plenty of superb saves from both keepers.
